 Today we will be talking about some differences between Long Term Care (LTC) and Long Term Acute Care Hospitals. It's common in healthcare industry and many fall prevention solution companies to get confused by these terms and what each of them entail.  In today's blog, I will be talking about something that has been improving throughout the years and also improving our processes and our lives. It's called artificial intelligence. What is artificial intelligence? According to the Oxford Dictionary definition, artificial intelligence is: the theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages. So why is it relevant for fall prevention that I decided to include it in this blog? It's relevant because, artificial intelligence has become a part of the fall prevention solution like other areas that it has been implemented.
